Coffee with Regular Milk

What a coffee drinking culture we have…. There seems to be cafes popping up everywhere. There are the big brands and chains through to the small independents. Having a cuppa is a great way to catch up with friends or have a meeting. There is something relaxing about meeting in a cafe.

Okay, so I have a few cuppas when catching up with friends or for business. One of the things that I noticed though is the number of people that have funky milk with their coffee. There are those that have skim or light milk. And there are others that have soy milk and then there are those that have….. The list goes on.

  • All these variations on regular milk. Is regular milk that regular any more?
  • What type of milk do you have in your coffee?

  1. And then there is the Irish coffee. I suppose you all have tried it. When we were young we sometimes made us a glass of it but not done it in a very long time. I think I will surprise my husband with one this weekend 😉

  2. Only like cream in my coffee!

  3. Hi there,

I have my coffee black 🙂 Sometimes I have a latte or espresso but mostly regular coffee, black. By the way, did you know that the Finns have been on the top of the list of countries by coffee consumption by capita. That is for years. I’m not quite sure where we stand now as the Wikipedia data is from 2008. How do you have your coffee ? Black, cream, regular milk, skim milk, milk and sugar ?

    Greetings from Finland 🙂

  4. I always use half & half. None of that slim, skim stuff for me. Coffee is one of my very non-guilty pleasures (good old Colombian girl) so I don’t compromise when it comes to it 🙂

  5. I don’t usually have milk in my coffee, I like the half and half cream (or sometimes a guilty pleasure are those flavoured creamers!) but funny coincidence as I am reading your post this morning, we had no half and half so I put milk in my coffee…just doesn’t cut it 🙂
