Timor Leste Project Planning nearly Completed

Over the last few months the Venturer Team putting together the Timor Leste Project has been doing an awesome job in planning for this wonderful adventure. The planning phase has just about come to an end. The Project Management Plan is in the final stages of Drafting and will be signed off in the near future.

It has been great to see the team learn about Timor Leste (also known as East Timor), Project Management, Travel Planning and Team Work. The Youth Members have done their research and developed a plan to achieve all the administration, logistical and service requirements for the project. The team has put the detail of this planning into a Project Management Plan (PMP). The PMP is currently under a final review before approval.

So with the planning complete the Team members have started to pay the participant fees for the project and the preparation has started. The booking of tickets, hire vehicles and accommodation has commenced. It is an exciting time as we move into the Preparation Phase even though there is still much to do and plenty of funds to raise.

And the AWESOME part is that in another Eight weeks’ time we will be in Timor Leste.

  1. Hi Attila, thank you for stopping by my blog. Timor Leste is an amazing place to visit – a life-changing experience and a hard place to leave, in many ways. I hope your group gets lots out of it – I am sure they will put lots in.

And do take lots of insect repellant, the strongest kind… there have been a huge number of mozzie viruses this year. Lots of people getting sick, even during short visits.

  2. Jealous! Hope you enjoy Timor Leste, hope you have some time to get out and explore!

  3. Sounds like your team is reaching their goals right on target. Looking forward to hearing more as it comes about. Enjoy your weekend Attila

  4. Well done kindred spirit. I wish you well and perhaps one day our paths in the “real” world will cross.
