ANZAC Day 2012
It was heartening to see the number of people around the country that came out to show their support for the sacrifices made by the ANZACs. I spent the dawn service at Bungendore this year where my Squadron Headquarters support the service there. Despite the cool morning it was good to see the attendance.
A special thanks to the Bungendore community for inviting us to the Service and also to the local Scout Group for putting on an awesome breakfast afterwards.
As we move closer to the 100th Anniversary of the Gallipoli landing in 1915 there is a sense that the ANZAC Spirit is stronger than ever. I look forward to involvement with the ANZAC Centenary through my involvement in Scouting.
